For sale is an excellent VT130 in great working condition. I had this unit serviced recently by a tech in the area. He tested it, replaced a few caps that were out of spec with the appropriate replacement, and made sure that it was ready use by running it for 10+ hours. He commented on how great it sounded. This amplifier has always been lightly used, turned on maybe once or twice a week for a few hours at max. There are really no cosmetic issues to be aware of other that a few light scratches you may find. This amplifier sat in the rack for its whole life. I make no guarantee on the condition of the tubes. The tech said they tested good and I did not inquire further. I will remove the tubes, wrap them in bubble wrap, but leave them under the cage. Included is the original manual. I know the amplifier works, so this is a final sale. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work and possibly be surprised when they do. However, there are times where I may miss something. If that happens, I hope that you would agree that the most efficient way to take care of an issue is if you simply message me before opening a case or doing anything else. An excellent original amp in working order but obviously as it is nearly 60 years old it will require minor servicing. All the transformers including the RS choke are original. One or two components have been changed but overall it has been untouched. The footswitch and grill cloth have been changed and it appears the rexine has been painted. It sounds absolutely amazing and the vibro works and sounds great. One speaker is slightly later than the other and both work well with no cone rub. This is a very cool Premier Guitar Tube amplifier.. The model T12 R… This is a pretty rare amp, is was also referred to as one of the first reverb amps… Also see references to Rumble… Link Wray, punching holes in the speakers to create a super dirty. This is a very deluxe amp… The original foot pedal is included. The amp seem to have been recovered.. The grill cloth and speaker baffle seem also redone… The speakers are marked 220-5XX and believe they are 1965… The amp plays and sounds amazing… These amps have an amazing tone and have some nice power.. Okay, The amp does work and play on channel 1 and the tremolo also works and can be controlled with the foot pedal. Channel 2 was not giving any sound.. The reverb tank has a wire disconnected, Could be an easy fix, I really don’t know. This is a really rare amp and has the sought after 7591 power tubes… This might need a few tubes… And a simple wire connection… Thanks and all the best… Add 40.00 for West Coast…. This is a killer Masco ME27 hand wired point to point 50s tube amp. Bill from Austin Vintage Guitars has replaced caps, resistors and one tube. The other tubes are vintage old stock from that same era (according to Bill) and tested strong. He did some modifications which made it more user friendly and he also gave mic/input 2 a tone knob. So mic/input 2 has 2 tone knobs that give you tons of flavors. He also did 2 outputs to speaker. One is for for 8ohms and the other is for 16ohms. It had the funky pin to hole ohm selector on the back and I wasn’t a fan of it, so he changed it for me. It has a 3 prong cable. It has a very nice crystal like clean and the crunch on this amp is like no other. I own several amps and pedals that cant mimic the dirt this amp puts out. It’s very unique. The amp works perfectly and sounds incredible. Yes it can get loud. There is plenty of cosmetic wear being it’s around 65 years old, but it’s excellent perfect working condition. I’ve got the old caps, etc. And the receipts of all the work Bill did to it. Vintage Silvertone tube amp. My friends son plugged in his bass. For a test session. It was a very warm. Old school sound that only a tube. Hand wired with quality Jensen speakers and RCA/Silvertone 6L6GC black plate tubes, t. He 1483 was intended to be a bass amp. Therefore, they are more rare then the other 1480 series amps. One tube seems brighter than the other when turned on. Blemishes but in overall great working vintage. The rubber handles on both the amp and the cabinet are in great condition with. No cracks and are amazingly still pliable. The metal hardware on the handles are also in very good condition with no corrosion. Badge looks good and the grill has a great vintage patina , no water marks but does have a scratch. Gray fabric material on the amp is in great condition but the cabinet has some tears. Some grey paint on the raw wood and a bit of scenic painting skills would work wonders to conceal the tears but I decided to leave it all original. Metal face of amp has some age/staining that may or may not come off.. Although this item is in working condition, this item will need cleaning or a bit of TLC to get it back to its original glory.
