Although this instrument came to us in relatively good shape, we want our items to be better than the rest and invested many hours of tech time plus parts costs to fully overhaul this unit so it would be clean, working like new again and as reliable as possible for its next owner. (YA) This classic vintage tube preamp is one of two we got at the same time. We had our tech fully overhaul both but wanted to be sure the original sound was preserved. This process required nearly 10 hours of skilled tech work and is of course reflected in its price. This unit is working fine and ready to use, unlike most.
