Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a pair of MC-60s in good condition. They’ve certainly been enjoyed and they are not perfect, but for the most part, the chrome is free of pitting. These were used sparingly and have had service done over the years, but are still mostly original. Bottom covers have some wear and paint chips. There are also a couple of areas where the mounts are slightly tweaked. The chrome does have scratches and a rust spots, but I would consider them normal for the age. Transformers are mostly clean, but do have scratches. One has some paint overspray on it. It will come off, but I did not fully remove all of it. No dings or dents however. They worked when last used. They were used up until a few years ago, but these will need to be serviced before they are used for any amount of time. The power cords on both are frayed and will need to be replaced or shortened before anything else can be done. You will also need a pair of rectifiers and your choice of power tubes. What you see is what is included and these were the tubes that were in the unit. Please see the photos I’ve taken. I’ve done my best to cover all angles. These truly are nice amplifiers, but I want to be transparent so that there are no surprises. The amplifiers will be boxed and insured separately. They will be carefully packed and I will make sure I’ve done my part to make sure they get to you in the condition they’re in. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work and possibly be surprised when they do. However, there are times where I may miss something. If that happens, I hope that you would agree that the most efficient way to take care of an issue is if you simply message me before opening a case or doing anything else. This isnt a job and Im not a flipper. I pack items correctly. I know what it takes to get an item to you safely. You will NOT have to ask for it. I will do my best to get items out within a couple days, however there are instances where that is not possible. The policies here are difficult in this regard because these vintage items in particular need to be moved and packed carefully. I do not want to damage anything by rushing.
