Vintage Grommes 10PG Tube Amplifiers Mono Amp Stereo Pair 10-PG, RARE
About 12-15 watts per channel. One of these amplifiers belonged to my father. I had planned to do a tone control bypass and set these up as power amplifiers only. My friend Kara Chaffee, chief engineer at deHavilland Electric Amplifier Co, did the preliminary wiring to bypass the tone controls already. If you want integrated amplifiers, it is easy to reverse. What is left to do is change the power supply can capacitors, and probably the coupling caps, etc. Included is a schematic with Kara’s hand-written instructions on how to complete the mod. The power tubes are not pictured, but I will include a full set of vintage tubes with each amplifier. These amps are not functional in their current state. I guarantee that the transformers are good as they have been tested by Kara. Rest assured these will be safely packaged. Thanks and good luck!
