Vintage Tube Amp

Up for sale is a A-323B 1940′s era tube amplifier from the Altec Lansing Corporation of Hollywood, California in original untouched condition. It has a six tube compliment consisting of 2-6J7′s, 1-6J5, 1-6L6GA’s, 1-6E6GA’s and a 5U4G rectifier. These Altec amps are phenomenal in that they have a flat frequency response of + or – 1db from 20 cycles to 20000 cycles and full rated power output within 1db from 35 cycles to 12000 cycles! It has two inputs, one for phonograph (high gain) and one for radio (low gain). It has three outputs for speakers 2.5-6 ohms, 8-12 ohms, and 16-24 ohms. When plugged in, the tubes light up, no other testing has been done on the amp. It’s cosmetically in good shape for its age with 70 years of dust. It is dusty with some dirt. The corners have light rust and the edge tips of the cover are bent. The knobs are original.
