Vintage Very Rare 1963 Schaller Echo-Sound Tube Preamp Disc Echo Machine + Adapter Cable + Power Cord + Operator’s Manual Excellent Condition. Ich biete hiermit mein gut 55 Jahre altes Röhren – Echo/-Hall Effektgerät Echo-Sound von Schaller zum Verkauf an. Es ist ein absoluter sehr seltener Klassiker und noch ein Vollröhrengerät von Schaller. Das Echo wird durch eine magnetisierbare Trommel (aufgedampfte Fe2O3 Schicht), an der 4 Tonköpfe und ein Löschkopf positioniert sind, erzeugt. Also gibt es hier nicht, wie bei den Tape-Echogeräten, einen Bandverschleiß. Der Echo-Sound hat einen integrierten 3-Kanal-Mixer mit jeweils 1 Schiebeschalter für Echo on/off. Folgende Echo/Hall Funktionen sind einstellbar: Echozeit kurz Echozeit mittel Echozeit lang Echozeit kurz + mittel Echozeit kurz + lang Echostärke (Echolautstärke) Nachhall (Feedback) Gesamtlautstärke. Folgende Anschlüse stehen zur Verfügung: Input I für Instrumente Input II für Instrumente z. Der Sound des Echos-Sound ist wie man ihn von einem echten Vintage-Gerät erwartet: Warm, mit musikalischen Charme und analoger Charakterstärke. Achtung: Für jemand, der ein glasklares Digital-Echo er wartet, ist dieses Vintage Gerät aber nicht das Richtige! Vor allem sollte man nicht vergessen, dass man das Gerät natürlich auch als Röhren-Preamp nutzen kann. Ich habe meine US-Strat direkt an den Schaller Echo – Sound angeschlossen und hatte somit eine Vorstufe mit einem warmen leicht angezerrten Röhren-Overdrive Sound (mit oder ohne Echoeffekt) extrem bluesig!! Der Schaller Echo-Sound ist für sein Alter in einem technischen und optischen sehr guten und sauberen Zustand. Zwei Tonköpfe wurden vor einiger Zeit mal gegen original Binson- Tonköpfe getauscht. Its an absolute classic machine, staffed with excellent vintage tube technology! The echo is produced through a magnetizable drum (evaporated Fe2O3 layer), where 4 heads and one erase head are positioned. So no tape wear, like in the tape echo machines. The unit has a built-in 3-channel mixer with a slide switch for echo on / off. The sound of this wonderful Schaller Echo-Sound is like a real vintage echo unit : Warmth, charme and analog character strength! But attention: For someone who is expecting a crystal clear digital echo sound, this vintage device is not the right one! And dont forget, you can use this unit as a fantastic tube preamp. I used it with an old Stratocaster and Ive got a warm smooth overdrived tube sound. With and without an echo effect. The Schaller Echo – Sound works fine and is in excellent and clean condition. Two heads have been exchanged by original Binson heads some time ago. The Echo-Sound unit comes completely with the follwing accessories.
