Vintage Tube Amp

1970′s Fender Musicmaster bass guitar tube amp, works great! . I believe it is a 1973 model, based on the numbers on the transformer. Made in the USA.. I just recently acquired it. I hooked it up and played through it for two hours, everything works as it should, it sounds awesome. I read somewhere where these were rated at 12 watts of output. It’s pretty loud for 12 Watts, I’m just going to say that. In overall good shape structurally. No cracks or breaks anywhere, just some scuffs on the tolex, but it’s not an eyesore These are less popular as a bass amp than they are as a blues guitar amp. Fair vintage condition, the tone knob is broken off and two of the four tubes aren’t glowing (turns on, but no sound), has “Tailless” Fender logo and the number 39032 stamped on the back. For sale is a Mesa Boogie Bass 400 amp (not the Bass 400+). This amp cranks and is the one of the loudest best sounding amps Ive ever heard. You can really dial in some amazing tones with this amp with the push pull knobs and EQ. This amp was produced from 1985-August 1989 according to Mesas website. The amp was recently serviced by Accutech Audio and is sounding mint. This has been kept in my home studio in a flight case for most of its life. This is a used Realistic Tube PA Amp/Amplifier. It has 3 inputs: 2 Microphone and 1 phono that have been tested and all work. It includes a Sam’s Photofact Folder/Schematic for a Realistic Model PA30/60 Amplifier. This amplifier uses a 5U4 instead of the 5AR4 (rectifier tube) shown in the schematic, but all the other components are the same. I used this with an electric guitar plugged into both microphone inputs using a “Y” adapter and a Switchcraft 1/4 to screw on connector on the amp. It was connected to a 4×12 guitar speaker cabinet using the output screw terminals (to a 1/4 jack adapter). It was also used with a CD player plugged into the phono input. It works as it should, with plenty of power; The bass and treble controls also work well. It uses 3 – 12AX7′s, 2 6L6′s and a 5U4. All the tubes test good on a Sencore TC154 emissions type tube tester. It is in nice shape and includes all the knobs and cabinet screws but the bottom plate is missing 2 screws. This is a very rare Airline 2535-V commercial grade tube amplifier unit. It is missing the record player which would mount on top but an orange metal plate was added on top. This unusual amp unit features battery operation with AC and DC power cords on the back. It appears that the large mechanism toward the rear of the chassis inside is a generator (Genemotor switch on the faceplate), perhaps the generator is to recharge an external battery (not included). The tube compliment going from back to front counter-clockwise are 83, 6F5G, 6F5, 79, 76 6L6, 6L6 all vintage including RCA and Sylvania (untested tubes). Up for sale here is this vintage Harman Kardon Citation II tube amplifier. This is in fairly decent shape but does have some missing paint on the transformers, some light to moderate rust, and some overall moderate wear. The bottom cover is included, but there is no top cage, sorry. No tubes are included. The inside appears to have all the boards and parts, though I don’t know if it’s missing anything or not. The power cord is there but is frayed and should obviously be replaced. There is an ID number scratched above the rear meter, and the rear fuseholder is tucked inside the chassis for some reason. A proper rebuild on a Citation II involves replacing a TON of stuff, so realistically this isn’t that bad. You will probably want to completely disassemble this, sandblast and repaint the chassis and transformers, install new sockets, and do the full recap/rebuild. What you see is exactly what you get. I will guarantee the transformers to be good, but the rest of it is not guaranteed. Lease see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask.
