Vintage Realistic Tube PA Amp/AmplifierP-P 6L6 Output tubes, inc Sams Schematic
This is a used Realistic Tube PA Amp/Amplifier. It has 3 inputs: 2 Microphone and 1 phono that have been tested and all work. It includes a Sam’s Photofact Folder/Schematic for a Realistic Model PA30/60 Amplifier. This amplifier uses a 5U4 instead of the 5AR4 (rectifier tube) shown in the schematic, but all the other components are the same. I used this with an electric guitar plugged into both microphone inputs using a “Y” adapter and a Switchcraft 1/4 to screw on connector on the amp. It was connected to a 4×12 guitar speaker cabinet using the output screw terminals (to a 1/4 jack adapter). It was also used with a CD player plugged into the phono input. It works as it should, with plenty of power; The bass and treble controls also work well. It uses 3 – 12AX7′s, 2 6L6′s and a 5U4. All the tubes test good on a Sencore TC154 emissions type tube tester. It is in nice shape and includes all the knobs and cabinet screws but the bottom plate is missing 2 screws. I tested the Monitor jack on the front with stereo headphones and it works also. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks for checking this out!
