Vintage 1963 Gibson Skylark Tremolo Guitar Amp GA-5T Tube Amplifier Made In USA. Here is an amazing Vintage 1963 Gibson Skylark Tremolo Amp, GA-5T. This Amp measures 20.25″w x 15.25″h x 6.5 deep. Serial number looks to be 442906. I don’t know much about guitar amplifiers. All knobs seem to work well. Most guitarist agree that this was a really sweet vintage amp, and with the Tremolo, should have really great sound! Leather strap handle is very worn and some cracks in wrap at bottom. Clearly this one has some new components inside as well. I tried to get a lot of pictures, but please don’t hesitate to ask for additional photos if needed. Up for sale, a 1964 Silvertone model 1485 piggyback tube amplifier in exceptional, collector-grade condition and in perfect working order. Produced in the first full year the 1485 model was available, this amp is a stunning example both visually and tonally, boasting the complete original Silvertone branded tube set (with a quad of matched RCA-made gray plate 6L6s no less), original dolly, and six minty Jensen C10Q speakers. The 1485 as advertised by Silvertone pushes a whopping 120 watts, but stripping away the marketing, this amp functions closer to 100 watts via the quad of matched original RCA-made 6L6 power tubes. Extremely powerful and articulate, these amps have much more headroom, punch, and top end response than the smaller 1484, and can produce both bold cleans and roaring overdrive. The smooth articulate crunch of this model has found favor with players across the spectrum, and it responds very well to pedals too. Both channels feature a pair of inputs (high and low) and both channels share the built-in Reverb and Tremolo effects. While the Tremolo has a nice strong pulse that gets quite thick and deep, the Reverb is infamous in its own right for its thin, trashy sound that’s perfect for lo-fi and surf tunes, with a unique gain structure and chimey top end character. The circuit is extremely original, with only a couple smaller caps and a modern three-prong power cord installed to ensure optimal functionality The stock transformers are present, and the original CTS pots date back to the 36th week of’64. The speakers are an incredibly clean sextet of original Jensen C10Q 10 drivers, with minty black frames, original cones, 1964 date codes, and an original, untouched wiring harness. All of the original barrel knobs are intact on the polished aluminum faceplate, which also retains all of the original black silkscreen text. Cosmetically, this Danelectro-made amp is stunning. The original charcoal covering shows sparingly little wear on either the head or cabinet, and the original grillcloth has plenty of sparkle in the gold thread. The head secures into the back of the cabinet with the original swiveling nylon tabs, and even the original dolly is included, screwing into the bottom of the cab with stock screws and retaining a small paper label informing the owner to turn the screws “with a screwdriver or large coin” to attach the dolly. Easily one of the nicest 1485s to surface in years, this amp is a lovely vintage example that’s been given a clean bill of heath from our tech shop and comes complete with the full, original Silvertone-branded tube set. 4 New Amprex matched power tubes. Great sounding phono stage for moving magnet cartridges! Also has a headphone amp built in. This amp sounds so good! It’s 13watts in 8ohm but has incredible low end. I’ve been using this in my main setup driving Dali ikon 6′s with no problem. I had the whole amp gone thru and tested when I got it a year ago. Victor Tube Amplifier Type 245 Vintage Audio late 1920s. Here is an old Victor Tube Amplifier Type 245 from old collectors estate, it is being offered as parts or restoration project. The unit is offered untested and as is. These would need to be cleaned up and go through. If you know what you’re doing you can make a nice pair of tube amps and have a pretty sweet stereo system. All original Victor transformer covers seem to be there. I will not measure each transformer and capacitor to see if they’re good. This is an as is project which is reflected in the price. Vintage Fisher X-101-B tube amplifier in good working condition. I recapped and retubed this amplifier 12 or more years ago, used it briefly and then put it on a shelf. I need the space now so I put it on the bench and tested it out. This unit is in good working condition. All inputs test good and all outputs test good. Note that this model has both ceramic and magnetic phono inputs and adjustable gain for these inputs plus a center channel. Selectable speaker impedance – note the funky connection in the photos of the rear panel. Only the 8 ohm impedance was tested. Good working Electro-Harmonix (Russian) 7591A output tubes and a mix of RCA and Telefunken 12AX7 drivers. Good working 5AR4 rectifier tube. Original Fisher molded cord and plug. Face is in good condition with minor wear. Some knobs and knob caps were replaced years ago. A couple of screws are missing. Missing two tube shields. One of the two-prong outlets on the back is cracked. Big rubber replacement feet on the bottom. This unit is in working order. Yes, I will pack it well!
