For sale is an excellent Conrad Johnson Premier Four power amplifier. 100 Watts per channel. This amp is massive and extremely well built. Giant filter and power capacitors. Weighs 80lbs on its own. I hate to part with this unit, but it needs to be played and not sit on a shelf. This unit has been well cared for and recently underwent pro servicing and tube upgrade including. Matched set of Mullard EL34 (x8). Here’s what is included. Tubes should be re-biased when you receive the unit. Very easy to do with instructions right on the chassis. The Premiere Four vacuum-tube power amplifier used two pair of EL34 output tubes per channel to produce 100 watts per channel. It featured extensive use of conrad-johnsons proprietary CJD polystyrene capacitors throughout the audio circuit and in the regulated power supplies for the voltage amplification stages. The Premier Four achieved silky highs, and a remarkable three-dimensional soundstage. 4, 8, 16 ohm speaker taps (screw type). One pair of input. Built in bias indicators. Power Output: 100 watts per channel, minimum RMS, at 4, 8, or16 ohms both channels driven from 30Hz to 15kHz with no more than 1% THD or IM Distortion. Response: 20Hz to 20kHz, +0.5dB. For sale is a truly rare Fisher 20A in very nice condition. This unit has not been plugged in or turned on in many years. It seems to be completely original. I guarantee that the transformers are good, but please do not plug this amplifier in and expect it to work. It will need to be serviced first. Cosmetically it is nice, with normal scratches and wear consistent with age. Do see the photos of the bottom of the unit. Cage is missing the original screws as well as the Fisher emblem, but I will include a couple that do the job of holding it on. This amplifier is from my personal collection. Please message me if you have any gear for sale but dont want to deal with listing! You do not need to live near me. I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications.
