You are looking at a Vintage 1960′s Lafayette by Univox U-320 2×12 All Tube Combo Amp. Univox was the builder on Lafayette amps. They are virtually a clone of Univox. These amps are real sleepers. They have great Tone. Lafayette was a budget economy amp back in the 1960′s, but just like Valco they are appreciated for their Tone. We have upgraded this amp with 2 Jensen C12R speakers. These speakers provide warm low and mid response with smooth/bright highs. When presented with overdrive distortion, it presents smooth crunch with low-end focus. If you are after that mid sixties trashy rock tone, this amp will do the trick. Our Amp Tech just serviced this amp. You won’t have to spend any additional monies on it. Gig Ready on Arrival! Keep in mind that this is a 55+ year old vintage amp that has been used. There are scuffs, scratches and minor tears in the tolex. Some light scratches on the instrument control bezel. Metal case Dimensions (LxAxP) 400 x 185 x 288 mm / 15.7 x 7.3 x 11.3 inch. Weight 12 kg / 26 lb 6.9 oz (26.432 lb). Stereo amplifier 2x 10 W at 800 ohm with mono / stereo switch, bass, treble, balance and volume controls. Further functions: override indicator, right / left channel switch, dimming ripple accessible on rear side. Distortion at 10W = 0,3%. Distortion at 11W = 1%. Distortion at 2W = 0,02%. Flat response curve from 7Hz to 40Kz. To use this Power amplifier you need a pair of speaker 800 ohm Philips AD5046 box with 9710AM speaker. I sell this amplifier as not working for restoration project complete with tubes (tubes and transformer ok). I point out that it has a dent on the left side of the metal cabinet as shown in photos 4 and 6. This vintage tube power amplifier type AG9014 is a 2 x 10 Watt Philips stereo amplifier from 1958. The amplifier has balance output stages that are direct, that is to say without the interruption of a transformer, with 800 ohm speakers (initially type AD5038, later AD5046, with AD3701AM and 9710AM drivers respectively) be connected. The matching tuner can be type A5X83A from 1958 (mono) or A5X93A from 1963 (stereo), a suitable gramophone is the AG2209 (with AG3401 pick-up).
