Pair SIEMENS Klangfilm Tube amplifier Smf verst. 4b EL84 vintage audio amps. Here we have a pair = 2 units of rare tube amplifiers made by SIEMENS in the 1950 ies. They are the most favorite type : Smf verst. 4b with EL84 in Se mode and 2 x EF40 in pre amplifier section. These amplifiers were modified with stronger power supplies and direct connection of RCA plugs at the back of both amps. All unimportant switches and treble / bass controls were shut down – this allows ultra linear sounding. Source can be connect with RCA plug speaker connect are banana plugs , standard. Both units are technically restored and play powerfull. The video contains the track ” The look ” from Metronomy – that has the complete audio spectrum , very linear & natural sounding , you can hear each instrument. Each amplifier uses 1 x EL84 and 2 x EF40 , all tubes are origiginal labeled SIEMENS types. All tubes are included! This is an original 1965 combo amp, good working amp with the original 10 Jensens special design ceramic magnet speakers, The code on one speaker was 220548 should be the 48th week of 1965. If you have questions I would be happy to respond. Clean tube sound out of this amp should be a great studio amp or small clubs. Even though this one is kinda tough in regards to the covering it is pretty rare to find one of these forsake anymore that are complete as a working amp.
