Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a very clean 1979 (according to the original date on the transformers) Fender Princeton Reverb vintage silverface tube amp. We all know how good these sound and how rare they are becoming compared to the circuit board reissues – reverb and tremolo are killer! Since Ive owned it, the amp has been professionally cleaned, the reverb tank has been serviced, and a new grill cloth has been installed (the tolex on this amp was so clean that it was a mis-match with the ratty old grill cloth, so I replaced it). Per the previous owner, the amp had been serviced, recapped, and re-tubed as necessary. He installed a GE NOS coin base/coke bottle style rec. There were some slight mods done to enhance the depth of the tremolo and to allow for a slower trem rate. There was also a pot professionally installed to allow for easy biasing. The death cap was removed and a 3-prong power cord added. Overall, this amp delivers the traditional Fender warm, rich sound with that classic spank through the original CTS speaker. All three units power up, I was able to listen some FM stations, both preamp and tuner need internal/control cleaning and power amplifier tubes have some black spots on them, they are not tested further/professionally. Power amplifier has four Dynaco 6CA7 EL34 (three of them are marked Great Britain), one Dynaco 7199-USA, one Electron 7199-USA and another tube that does not have any markings on it. EL34 tubes have some black spots and’2′ written on their tops and some lettering/numbers are erased/washed up on some tubes. This set also includes four RCA type cables and panel mounts for tuner and PAS-2 units (I do not know if PAS-2 panel mount is compatible with PAS unit).
