Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a very rare original McIntosh MC-30 in what I’d consider is dormant condition. Unit is average cosmetically, but is completely original and has not been used in many years. This unit will certainly need to serviced before it is plugged in or used. Please do not plug this amplifier in before servicing it. Tubes included will likely need to be replaced, some may be good. This unit is different from later units due to the lack of printing on the chrome on one of the sides, the lack of a McIntosh logo on the bottom cover, and no barrier strip. Cosmetically, expect surface rust, dull paint, and a bit of pitting. Bottom cover has a bent mounting fin. This amplifier is restorable. Terms (Please read these). I sell mostly vintage electronics. As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work. However, there are times where I may miss something. I need an outlet for these items online, so I have no reason to send you something that doesnt work unless Ive noted that it doesnt. I pack items correctly. I know what it takes to get an item to you safely. You will NOT have to ask for it. I will do my best to get items out within a few days, however there are instances where that is not possible. The policies here are difficult in this regard because these vintage items in particular need to be moved and packed carefully. I do not want to damage anything by rushing. Looks to me like the nicest example of an all-original Vintage 1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb Blackface seen here in awhile. Aside from the merest of corner rub on the otherwise perfect tolex, this iconic tube amplifier is absolutely as she came from Fullerton Fender Electric shop the year the Beatles invaded America. At worst, there’s just a little bit of clean-up to do on the dust and dust bunnies on the tolex and interior. We did a bit of simple water wipe up and I will leave the serious restorative process up to her new owner’s requirements as she’s perfect under the dust! But, aside from the missing dual footswitch, the amp is in pristine 100% untouched shape. Original everything, the faceplate is immaculate, the tolex is very near mint, and the grille and all else is totally in order. After these pictures, the amplifier received a complete recap using F & T Electrolytic and Sprague Atom capacitors. Hoopla and Whoop do doo aside, these are just the most amazing 22 watts of tube ever conceived by homo sapiens and this is the nicest example ever! Contact with questions or for a Skype!
