Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a McIntosh MC275 CE in excellent condition, tested and ready to be put into service. This unit was likely produced in the early 90s, using a chromed chassis (not polished steel) and closely resembles the original with the exception of a circuit board instead of point to point wiring. Unit in the past had a power tube fail, so it was serviced, but came to me without tubes. I did a complete check of all components and found no issues beyond a blackened tube socket which is simply cosmetic. I tested all of the pin voltages and they were well-within specification. Unit sounds absolutely beautiful. All tubes are either new or NOS. I have the original box and packing material which I will place within another box. This will give you three layers of protection. Cage is not pictured but is included. Unit is in excellent condition but does have some light scratches on the chassis in places as well as scuffs on the tops of the transformers as well as the bottom cover. Bottom cover also has a couple of dings from the brace inside of the unit. It will be coming in a large box. Terms (Please read these). The policies here are difficult in this regard because these vintage items in particular need to be moved and packed carefully. I do not want to damage anything by rushing. Vintage Kamico Electric Guitar Tube Amp. There are dings and scuff to the finish and it was used quite frequently by the previous owner in their playing days. Backstory: This was an estate sale item from our neighbors. He was the only owner and had a few vintage instruments and amps that family did not take. He modified almost all of his gear , and as you can see in the picture, he added a metal plate to block some of the tube heat against the speaker, not sure if the ac cord is original. Unknown if internals are modified. One of the tubes appears to have been replaced as there was a tube similar to the other 2 that was in a bag with the amp. Not sure if the removed tube works as we are leaving this untouched. Powers on, tubes emit a warm glow – see last photo. Volume knob has static with movement so could most likely use a teardown cleaning and tubes, input and intervals checked over. Some static and hum are present – we only had an acoustic to plug in and pushed the volume to the max to test. Normally, this would not leave my hands but alas, my time as a working musician is over and this deserves to be played by someone who will bring new life to it and play it frequently.
