One Pair Regulated Output Amplifier Limiter Compressor For Tube Amplifiers. Dimensions 19″ x 7″ x 10. Net Weight Each 17.0 lbs/7.7kg. Made For Dept of Commerce Civil Aeronautics Administration by Maxson Instruments, Long Island 1, NY. This is a cool looking and nearly identical pair. Tubes in each are 6X4, 6AL5, 12AU7, 12AX7 and 2 x 6AU6. Inside there is a manufactured date – May 28, 1957. Appears to be all stock and original and untouched for many years. Please bear in mind these two units are not plug and play. They will need to be gone through by a competent technician to repair, replaced any worn out and leaky capacitors and resistors.
