Original vintage Eico HF-81 Stereo Hi Fi Tube Amplifier. Original owner estate find, carefully stored in garage for decades. Looks to be in fairly well preserved/original condition. No cleaning, testing or hook-up of any sort was performed. Measures about 15″W X 5″H X 9-3/4D, weight 24 lbs. Has the name’Boles’ etched on top edge. THESE AMPS RUN ON THE 6CW5/ EL 86 (4 OF THEM PER AMP) TUBE , WITH A 16A8 AND A 12AX7 INPUT DRIVER TUBE. THE AMPS POWER UP BUT I CANNOT TEST FOR SOUND BECAUSE THESE AMPS ARE DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH 800 OHM SPEAKERS. THEY DO NOT HAVE OUTPUT TRANSFORMERS. AND I HAVE NO SPEAKERS TO TEST THEM WITH. THE TUBES INCLUDED ARE VERY OLD AND I HAVE NO IDEA ON HOW GOOD THEY ARE. EACH AMP HAS A TUNER AND PHONO INPUT , THE SCHEMATIC CAN BE DOWNLOADED FOR FREE FROM THE PACIFIC TV WEBSITE , CHECK IT OUT.
