Vintage Tube Amp

It has been brought up to voltage with a variac and tested. All functions seem to work, but it is very scratchy when turning controls and will need further attention including a good pot cleaning. You may want to recap as well. I noticed no excessive heat other than the normal tube heat. No humming came through in the sound as I tested. I ran it for 45 minutes and then powered it down. It will be packed very carefully , bubbled, and double boxed with both cushioned protection for tubes, as well as foam board layers all around. This is a pair of the Heathkit W-5M model mono amplifiers. They are in clean condition and I have not plugged them in or tested them at all as they probably need to be brought up slowly to avoid damage to them. Both of them have the pair of Genalax KT66 tubes in them that I haven’t tested as well. They both have the silver Peerless/Altec Lansing 16458 output transformers in them and both have the Peerless stickers on them. The cabinets show some scratches on the gold front and sides and the black covers have some age type spots of wear on them as well and one is missing the Heathkit nameplate.
