Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a bogen rf-35 all tube receiver… Nice condition with it’s original hardwood cabinet. All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced. It has been’scoped and works as it should. It has had the output transformers replaced with oversized appropriate units. It has 2 x 6v6gt tubes per channel. They are 4 different versions of the 6v6gt tube but work fine. Puts out about 18 watts per channel. I have been repairing and building tube guitar amp, hi-fi and recording gear for over 40 years. I have run tube amplifier repair businesses solo in San Francisco, New Orleans and now, Clarksdale Mississippi. To optimize a piece of hi-fidelity, tube guitar amp or recording gear is a passion for me. Bogen MU15A Tube PA Amplifier Vintage Music Equipment For Repair. It powered on then I couldn’t get it to turn back on. While it was on, the tubes and light lit up. I wasn’t able to test it with speakers. For parts or repair.

This is a Bogen CHB 50 amplifier that works great. It has the original Bogen 6L6 output tubes (not sure about the preamp tubes). The pots and tube sockets were cleaned with Caig DEOX prior to listing. It has the usual paint peeling off issues, not all level controls have the original knobs, 2 of the preamp tube are missing the outer shield, 1 foot is missing and the “ON” light has been moved to the front panel, the rear flop down cover is missing, “under the hood” electronics appear to have not been repaired. David Bogen J130 Push Pull 6L6 Tube PA Amplifier. Tested and works well for Audio/Music or Microphone/Guitar. Includes microphone to 1/4 jack adapter for electric guitar use. This amplifier was plugged into a 4 x 12 speaker cab for testing. It has screw connectors for 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets. This amp will seriously overdrive when turned up and gets very loud with an electric guitar. The RCA phono jack can be used for line level (CD etc) inputs. All tubes test at least good (on an emissions type tester). The 5U4 rectifier tube and one of the 6L6 output tubes have broken guide pins but can still be used. The Red Power light works.
