VTG MCM Heathkit Daystrom GD-61 Reverberation Tube Amplifier RARE. Ee all photos as part of the description. Tested for power and volume level- I don’t have the ability to test it further. Looks like all the tubes are lit and it sounds like the reverb speaker is working fine. Heathkit Receiver AA-100 Vintage Tube works neat face lighting. Cosmetically the receiver is in good condition for a unit 60 years old. Check out the photos to judge for yourself. I plugged a CD player into Aux2 and attached speakers and it worked with plenty of volume. The sound is slightly distorted but not bad since the capacitors are really old and the switches need to be cleaned. There is a small dent in the back of the chassis (see picture) that could be easily straightened if you remove the fuse holder. Check out the catalogue page pictured that describes this vintage receiver. This is an excellent candidate for a refurbishment and a fascinating piece of audio history marking the time when HI FI moved from monaural to stereo. There is a provision to control stereo separation and mixed-channel speaker to provide “center fill”. I will pack it securely with a heavy duty box lined with foam and the receiver wrapped in bubble wrap.
