Vintage Heathkit AA-40 / Daystrom 40 Watt/Channel Stereo Tube Amplfier – RESTORED! This amplifier has been THOROUGHLY restored with many new parts. All of the parts are tested & guaranteed. New parts are: driver tube sockets. Filter & decoupling capacitors, All new resistors in the the driver tube circuitry, all new diodes, new tall rubber feet & new wiring where it was needed. Please note that all of the vintage coupling capacitors in this amplifier have been thoroughly tested on a General Radio 1617 capacitance tester for value, leakage and Q. These vintage paper in oil capacitors is what gives this vintage tube amplifier its characteristic vintage tone, warmth and sweetness. It is rare to find a vintage tube amplifier with GOOD, TESTED vintage coupling capacitors in them these days as most of sellers use inexpensive replacement coupling capacitors which sound inferior. This Amp is plug & play with no hum, buzz or issues. Both channels track & easily put out 40 watts 50 watts measured at clipping!! This is a GREAT amplifier at a GREAT PRICE!
