Up for sale here is this neat vintage tube amplifier. It seems like some sort of homebrew, but is very nicely built. It uses Thordarson transformers, including a T-22S74 output transformer. This normally uses a 5Y3GT rectifier (far right socket), two 6V6GT output tubes (two sockets next to that one), and two 6N7 tubes, but the 5Y3 and 6V6 tubes are not included, sorry. The other tubes are untested and are probably original. This is in good physical condition with light to moderate overall wear. The bottom cover is missing, but everything else looks pretty complete, though one knob does not match the others. It will be an amazing guitar amp once it’s done. Up for sale here is this nice vintage mono tube amplifier. I believe this is an old organ amplifier–just look at that massive power transformer! The codes on the output transformer are A-5092-3 606-936, and the power transformer is marked P-6606 606940. Both transformers were made by Woodward-Schumacher in either 1959 or 1949, probably 1959. This is in pretty good shape, with moderate wear and some rust. It normally uses one 12AX7, two 6V6GT output tubes (the two front sockets) and one 5Y3GT rectifier (rear socket), but no tubes are included, sorry. This is a pretty cheap amp to tube up. This was partially rebuilt, with a few new parts, and it currently works, but I would suggest redoing the rest of the capacitors. For guitar amp use you will probably need to modify it with an additional gain stage or something like that. Please be aware that this is a MONO tube amplifier. It is not a stereo amp.
