Vintage 1959-60 Sears Silverstone 700 Stereo Tube Amplifier Power On/ AS-IS. This amplifier powers on, and the tube lights up, but no sound is produced. We observed that one tube is missing, and it’s possible that this could be the reason for the issue. This old HH Scott receiver had been stored in a garage for years, likely decades. It was pretty dusty but cleaned up reasonably well with some compressed air and brush. We removed the 7591 and 12AX7 tubes, but otherwise it’s exactly as we found it. Due to the fact that it’s sat so long, we’ve made no attempt to test it. It’ll likely need new capacitors or other components. If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item. Late 60′s or early 70′s Lafayette tube amp head, made in the USA by Univox. Missing it’s 2-6L6 and 1-12AX7 tubes and has a blown fuse. Inside looks clean with no obvious burnt parts.
