Knight Intl Vintage Tube Amplifier Original Clean Estate Find Allied Chicago IL. Just found in a local estate. It was an older woman and she did use it. I plugged it in and the tube lit up, but I’m not sure if it works or not. It has its RCA tunes. I’m pricing it low.

Both are military-grade surplus and bear the DOD Acceptance Stamp. The outer 4 corner mounting holes are on 2.375″ x 1.5″ centers. See all photos for Specs / Physical Condition.

Supro Amplifier by Valco Chicago 51. Crank it up, this amp is ready to “wail”. This amps sounds great full-up. This amp has a new 10 speaker and. New JJ’s brand 6SL7 preamp tube. This 12 volt amp is clean sounding from 1 to 3. On the volume dial, then starts to break-up at 3.5 and becomes progressively more distorted as the volume is turned up. One Brand New Preamp 6SL7 JJ brand. Fourteen and a half inches tall. Seven a half deep. This amp is serviced and the old power cord is replaced. By a six-foot-long grounded cord. The Jensen speaker gives the amp a deeper bottom end with no brittle highs at all. The treble control knob is very responsive and provides a full pallet of tones from bass to treble. Manufactured by Stackpole Electronics. 304-303 = 3rd week of 1943 or 1953. 304-707 = 7th week of 1947 or 1957. This is a used Knight tube mono amplifier. It is in very good cosmetic condition; see the pictures. It uses EL84 output tubes in push-pull config. It is in stock form and has “phono” and “tuner” inputs. It can be rewired for more gain (it has 2 – 12AX7′s). It has been used recently and it sounds good, playing an entire CD without any problems (CD player was plugged into the “tuner” input). It had a new power transformer installed, but it still does not have a fuse (as it came from the factory). The chassis was painted where the new transformer was installed but the paint does not match the surrounding area. All the tubes tested good on a Sencore TC154 tube tester. Up for sale, a 1951 Oahu Chicago Model 51, recently serviced and ready for stage and studio use. This early Oahu amp was manufactured in Chicago by the parent company, Valco, who made amps under the National, Supro, and Gretsch brands, among others. Powered by a pair of 6V6 tubes and voiced through a modern Jensen 10″ alnico speaker, there’s a midrange richness and detail to the breakup of these amps that is signature “Valco tone. The bloom, light compression, and creamy nature of the sound reacts well with a variety of guitar pickups and makes this amp a perfect secret weapon for studio sessions, and it really shines with a microphone in front of it. The circuit has been thoroughly serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, with new Mallory caps in the preamp where necessary, Sprague Atom filter caps, and a new three-prong power cable. The original Stackpole pots are intact, along with the original transformers. Mounted to the back panel, an external speaker jack has been installed, with an on/off switch to engage or disengage the internal speaker as needed. In addition to the new Jensen speaker, the original Rola speaker is also included. The amp retains the majority of the original white covering, with the exception of the bottom and left side of the enclosure. The black segmented grillcloth is intact and the metal “Oahu” badge is present, along with the original molded handle.
