VINTAGE SOUND CITY CONCORD TUBE AMP / AMPLIFIER DALLAS ARBITER England. Rare and wonderful 60′s/70′s tube amp with fantastic reverb, this amp works great sounds even better. All original except the fanes were replaced with 25 watt celestion greenbacks, a good move!! Has a replaced 3 prong power cord also (for safety). Circa 1963 Dallas amp… Bass 15 Head only. This is I a fenton weill porta bass 15 in a oem package. Dallas did rangemasters, scalas, fuzz faces (dallas arbiter) and distributed gear before getting involved with sound city, so they have been around. This is a 2 el 84 head with a ez81 tube rectifier and 12ax7 preamps. Two channels, tone, and bass… Great sounding cranked up. I went through the amp quickly and reflowed solder joints, checked tubes, replaced one resistor (cracked) and put new screws in the output tranny mounting. Both channels work but the second input of each channel is out… Could not find the fault in limited time. The tranny is tapped for 120 volts, but only the light comes on… Possibly unhooked for safety reasons, but could be a quick fix. It works on 220 just fine, so requires a step up not provided. Bulgin socket replaced with standard plug.
