Ampeg B-15N in good working condition. New JJ 6L6 Final tubes, all other test good. There is a modification with the top. The clips where removed and 2 metal brackets where installed the cabinet and thumbscrews hold the top onto the cabinet. There is also 2 metal strips riveted to the back, not sure why there are there, both where like that when I got it 3 years ago. The speaker code shows an Eminence 15 speaker with a date code of’78. Vintage Ampeg B-15N Portaflex fliptop amp has some cosmetic wear but sounds great. Since its introduction in 1960, the B-15 has been used on countless classic recordings, and it remains the standard for studio bass amps. Aside from the replacement handle, and two reisistors this example is quite clean and all original. It has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
