Late 1940s Masco MA-25PN. Originally a Public Address System. Now re-purposed into a fully restored amplifier. All components have been tested/replaced if out of spec, and ran this amp wide open for hours. Tubes have all been tested and ran for audio/instrument clarity. 30 Watts Class A. Original Output, Replaced Power with Transformer from Era. Sounds amazing, tuned, ready to inspire! Original Knobs and Paint. Amp has been altered from it’s original wiring circuit. We jumper all channels as one. This mod allows you complete access to all of the channels if you like, or just one at a time. They all sound slightly different. 6J7 Preamp (4), one for each channel. Russian 6SL7 Phase (1), bass and treble controls. 5U4 Single Rectified (1). New grounded cord and plug. 1/4″ stereo input, 1/4″ mono outputs in 4,8,16, ohm operation. This listing is for a Vintage 1950 Hoffman PPP 6K6 Mono Tube Amp, Ideal for converting to a Parallel Push Pull Harp or Guitar Amplifier or for restoring a Hoffman console. It came from a Hoffman model 538 radio / record player and comprises the power & amplifier section of chassis # 168 (the tuner section will be listed separately). The schematic is in Rider’s Volume 22, which covers 1951, but both the tuner section and the speaker have 1950 dates, so that’s what we’re going with. The tube lineup is 4 x 6K6GT, in PPP, driven by a 6J5GT with a 5U4G rectifier. Prior to listing it was brought up on a variac and played well. Very hard to find 1948 Flot-A-Tone Tube amp in working order. These amps were made in Milwaukee and each amp made varied a bit when produced with different options, color schemes etc. This particular one has a tremolo line input which Ive never seen on one before, with some hand lettered/painted areas. The amp is all original and untouched, only cleaned up. The tube is dated 1948. Amp has a 12 speaker which is original to it. The sounds is fantastic very warm tone like youd expect on a vintage amp but as you crank it up it has a great vintage gritty sounds thats very hard to replicate. The line input for the tremolo on the bottom needs work so I never used that one. I just didnt want to touch it. Great working vintage amp here that Im told sounds even better for a harmonica or accordion if thats your thing. Vintage’53 Multivox Premier Model 50 Tube Guitar Amp Harp Harmonica. This fabulous vintage 1953 premier model 50 guitar, harp amp is loaded with mojo. There is no humming or cracking at all. Electronics were Serviced in 2010 – a full recap and power cord replaced with 3-prong grounded cord pots treated with Deoxit. Up for sale here is this nice vintage Knight PP 6V6 mono tube amplifier. This is circa 1956 and is Made in USA. It is in decent shape but has some wear and some rust/corrosion, mostly at the back. This does not have a top or bottom cover, sorry. It also does not come with tubes, but they’ll be easy to find. One can capacitor is a bit loose, but you can epoxy it down or replace the mount pretty easily. I have not powered this up or tested it in any way. This will need the usual recap/rebuild. Please be aware that this is a MONO tube amplifier. It is not a stereo amp. This will make an amazing guitar or harp amp. Lease see my pictures for details. This will arrive safely.
