Vintage 1967 Lectrolab R800d 2x12 Tube Guitar Amplifier, Amp, Tremolo

Vintage Lectrolab R800D 2×12 tube guitar amplifier. Powered by a pair of 7189 power tubes and (4) 12ax7 pre amp tubes. First channel has tremolo. Everything is in working condition, however, has not been serviced. The first channel tone control is fairly noisy. The more you turn the tone up, the more background noise there is. Not the case with the second channel. First channel also appears to have more gain. Original two prong power cable should be changed to a ground three prong. The amp has very little head room, and has a very creamy overdriven tone. It really breaks up when using a guitar with humbuckers. I believe the 1967 Jensen C12R speakers to be original. 1961 Harmony Bass Amp H322 Vintage Tube Amp 4x8 Lectrolab, Great for Guitar

Up for sale, a 1961 Harmony Bass Amp model H322 in excellent condition and in perfect working order. A rare and unusual vintage tube amp made for Harmony in the USA by Lectrolab, the H322 is, like the Fender Bassman before it, an amp marketed for bass and best suited for guitar. With a single channel and pair of fixed bias 7591 power tubes, the H322 delivers a rich tone via a quad of vintage RCA-branded 8 speakers. Not a particularly bright amp, the H322 has very responsive Treble and Bass controls and a Volume knob that’s best set all the way to its max. In fact, maxing out all the knobs seems to be this amp’s preferred state of being, and the distortion is positively thick, wooly, and raucous. It’s a dynamic and touch sensitive amp that a perfect apartment companion, studio secret weapon, or club gig powerhouse (with a microphone in front of it). And while the amp easily pushes enough volume on its own merits to compete with some drummers, its wattage and size make it a particularly versatile tube amp to have in your stash. The circuit has just been fully serviced and recapped as necessary, and all original transformers are intact. Like one would expect with a vintage bass amp, the transformers are quite generous in their size and are largely responsible for the power and fullness this amp can deliver. The tubes are all vintage and largely original, with EICO branded preamp tubes made by Mullard, and USA-made EICO 7591 power tubes. The speakers are a quad of alnico RCA-branded 8 speakers that date to 1957. Cosmetically, the amp is quite clean, with original white silkscreen graphics on the blue hammerite faceplate and stock white chicken head knobs as well. There is one silver plug on the faceplate from a previously removed mod. The original tolex and grillcloth are present along with the original back panel, and the dark grayish blue covering on the amp has held up well over the decades, especially given how this material is much more fragile than the tolex used by other manufacturers. Up for sale, a 1965 Harmony H-304A tube amplifier in good working order. Manufactured for Harmony in the USA by Lectrolab, the H-304A features a point-to-point hand-wired circuit that has just been meticulously gone through by our techs here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar to ensure perfect performance. With a Class A circuit that drives a single 6V6 power tube through a 10 heavy duty alnico speaker, the amp can deliver m. Odest overdrive and a glassy, clear tone with single coils. The circuit pushes into buzzsaw fuzz and fully saturated sizzle with P-90s or humbuckers, and the speaker keeps the low end fairly tight and minimizes speaker distortion even when dimed. The original transformers are intact, and the original CTS pots date to 1964, while the chassis stamp dates to’65. The blue hammerite finished chassis is remarkably clean, with all of the original white silkscreen graphics and text intact as well as all of the original white chicken head knobs. The original smooth dark grayish-blue covering on the enclosure is intact along with the salt and pepper grillcloth. The stock leather handle is present, but the original back panel is missing. Also, likely to cover up light wear on the material, the top of the amp was lightly painted black, and this extends slightly on the sides as well. This amp functions exactly as intended and is a perfect studio secret weapon. Check out our shop “Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, ” and please let us know if we can answer any questions! We use double thick boxes, 1″ foam and industrial 1/2″ bubble wrap to assure that your amp arrives safely.
