Nice Vintage Brass Face Fisher X-1000 Stereo Tube Integrated Amplifier in Wood Cabinet. If you know this machine then you know that it is a very complex over engineered? The preamp section has a number of unusual circuits. The Aux inputs are tied directly to the Tape Monitor inputs. There is a strange Center Channel circuit. There are also 2 features called’Spacexpander’ and’Dimension’. Typically, these features are disabled or modified for modern listening usage. There is also a 9 pin socket at the rear for a remote control unit. In this particular unit the Remote Control socket has been bypassed. The 2 resistors and 2 capacitors that tie the Tape Monitor to the other Inputs have been removed to give a Tape Monitor a clear pathway past the noisy gimmicky circuitry. Line inputs into the Tape Monitor sound fantastic. Nice, quiet and clean. All of the other Inputs work but are somewhat noisy to my ears. The Power Amp works fine and the bias adjusts properly. The preamp tubes are mostly original Fisher branded Telefunkens. The output tubes are all Mullard (2 branded Tesla; 1 GE and 1 Daystrom). One of the amber jewels on the front panel has been replaced. For sale is a pair of Dukane 1A435 mono tube amplifier. No actual model found on the amp, but my research indicate these are the model 1A435 (please correct me or double check yourself if you have doubt). I assume if you are looking at these you know what they are. They are very hard to come by now, especially in a pair as nice as this. Tube are mixed of vintage brand, with some tungsol OPT I believe. Please study the pictures carefully and judge the condition for yourself. This is a used pair of Dukane 1A435 tube amplifiers in as-is condition. Vintage electronics contain 20-50 years old parts (belts, rubber parts, caps, etc) that while may work at the time I tested the unit, can fail at any given time. It can be a few weeks, months, or years before it fails. Service is recommend since I have not tested these unit fully, and their working condition is unknown. Due to nature of vintage electronic, there is no return accept for this item. Please note that I leave a tampering proof on these unit, that will not effect its function, but will tell me if the unit has been open in anyway. Nice & Clean McIntosh MC240 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Works as it should. Looks and sounds great. All controls have been cleaned. The troublesome Selenium rectifier & circuit has been replaced with a stable modern equivalent. The thermistor and 2 other electrolytic capacitors have also been replaced. As far as I can tell everything else is all original. The 12AX7 and 12AU7 preamp tubes are Telefunken. The output tubes are Blackplate RCA 6L6′s 2 of which are badged McIntosh. The potentiometers date to 1965. Nice clean solid working unit. Includes all tubes shown.
