Vintage Tube Amp

For sale is a vintage J. MILLER QUALITY PRODUCTS, INC. Tube amplifier, Model 561. It was left behind in the radio electronics cabinets of my late father, who was an active HAM radio operator for over 70 years, and was a radio, TV, and other electronics serviceman for much of his life. He was always using and testing some of the best equipment, mostly because he enjoyed radio so much, but also so that he could give good advice to his customers. I haven’t been able to date this amplifier, and have been unsuccessful finding it on line or in my father’s library of vintage catalogs. I have Miller catalogs of coils, but not equipment. However, like the name indicates, Miller is known for quality products. My father admonished me to NOT plug in any of the tube equipment, but I did plug this in just long enough to see that it powered up, and quickly turned it off. So it does power up, but I have no knowledge of testing it further. It is clearly used, as it had an antenna lead attached. I’ll send that along. I’ll try to photograph what is inside, with even some flash photos, so that you can get an idea of the types of tubes and which components might be inside. This listing is for a very cool Vintage 1960′s Sano Guitar-Accordian Tube Amplifier. This is a very nice sounding amp and looks fantastic. The amp is all tube and 18 watts so it’s fairly loud and has a nice amount of clean headroom. The amp also has a killer sounding Tremolo. The amp has been serviced and is working and sounding really nicely. The speaker is a newer (non original) Jensen 12 speaker which works really nicely for electric guitar on this amp.
