DESCRIPTION Vintage SILVERTONE 1482 TUBE AMP Jensen Special Design C12R Recapped. All new Mojotone Vitamin T film capacitors, resistors, filter can capacitor. This is not original speaker, this Jensen sounded the very best out of 3 other speakers. This is in excellent condition and everything has been perfected to play without scratchy knobs or other issues, plug and play! Has shimmering highs and lush lows, tremolo is nice and strong. Cabinet has tin foil, speaker has speaker foam tape to make sure the amp cap doesnt rattle. This is a Pro Amp that sounds Amazing! Will include all old capacitors and parts. Old Pot is included and works, but while working on amp, thought it had issue, but was a bad resistor. So if you want to put original pot back in, its included! Vintage 1960s’ Sear’s Sivertone tube 1484′Twin Twelve’ amplifier chassis. This listing for the amplifier head chassis as shown in the photos; it also includes the the amp’s cabinet (also see photos). The amp head’s cabinet has shrunk and will not properly fit the amplifier chassis. The amplifier does work with both channels, reverb & tremelo; there is a noticeable hum and. Feedback in Channel #1. Plugged in and pilot lamps light up. Plugged mic into other amp to test mic and it does not work. I have no other way to test this item. The case has been refinished and features original leather handle, rubber feet and metal hardware. The case comes with its hinged back cover. The on-off switch is missing from the mic. The tubes all have 7 volt heaters so it is difficult to see if the tube filaments glowing or not though I could see for sure 3 tubes glowed. I removed 10 Alnico speaker to inspect to find no holes, rips or tears, excellent condition. Tested speaker with battery to verify voice coil is good and speaker works. No further testing done.
