Astonishingly good original working condition, with clean, modern, mid-century styling, silver-gold face. Rated at 20 watts/channel. Controls and switches are cleaned and smooth. Due to its age, it would be surprising if it did not need some updating to parts. It comes with its tubes (untested) and a power transformer that plugs into it. The transformer has some cut wires that went to the projector. It does not have a power plug. There is a speaker plug on the side. The amplifier does not rest flatly – part of it is at a different height, and there is a raised lip on one edge. Cosmetically it is i good condition with light wear. Pair of Vintage Monoblock Tube Amplifiers, Great Sound, EL34, ca. Excellent pair of early monoblock tube/valve amps that feature EL34 and 12AX7 tubes. There is no make or model on these amps. The amps are in working order and sound excellent; volume pots VG, with no drop outs or scratchiness. No hum when in use and volume is turned down. They are well-built and the original owner used high quality Mullard & Amperex tubes (sorry not included). They are substantial in weight, about 25lbs each. Tubes are not included. This listing is for one (1) Vintage Voycall Model 2201 Tube Intercom. The tube lineup comprises a 6CM8 amplifier (triode + pentode), a 12AX7 and a 6X4 rectifier. The speaker is marked 45 Ohm voice coil and the one that we examined was marked 465308 indicating Oxford and probably 1948 or 1958. Prior to listing each unit was tested to power on and deliver sound from the speaker (static, crackling when the volume pot was rotated). The insulation on the power & communications cords had degraded with age so they were cut off after testing, for liability reasons. All are in fair cosmetic condition, with scuffs, scratches, marks or paint spatter. One unit has a bad 6X4 rectifier tube and the retaining nut on the control with the chickenfoot knob has worked loose on a couple. These are the only ones on the market – don’t let them get away! USES 2 6L6GA, 1 6SL7GT, 1 6N7, 2 7C6 AND A 5U4 G RECTIFIER. THIS ONE HAS HAD SOME FILTER CAP REPLACEMENT BELOW THE LID. I HAVE NOT PLUGGED IT IN DUE TO AGE. AWESOME TRANSFORMERS ON THIS. WHEN YOU TURN A KNOB THE CORESPONDING DIAL TURNS. GUARANTEE THE TRANSFORMERS ON THIS BUT NOTHING BEYOND THAT. IT SHOULD BE GONE THROUGH BY A GOOD TECH AND CAPS REPLACED BEFORE LONG TERM USE.
