Vintage Tube Amp

I have a rare vintage Fisher 30-A mono tube amplifier for sale here. It is in extremely good condition, with light overall wear. One of the bottom edges is slightly bent on one side, but could probably be bent back pretty easily. This does include a bottom cover, visible in the last picture. This has been serviced and is in perfect working condition. It was brought up on a Variac (not included) to re-form the can capacitor, and has some other new capacitors in it. This was modified to use diodes for rectification instead of the normal 6CA4 tube (not included), and hot glue or something similar was put over the 6CA4 socket to ensure that it was not used. This should be fairly easily reversible if you want. I did not do the modifications on this. I did clean the volume control with Deoxit (not included). The tubes are vintage USA tubes and work well. This works perfectly and sounds amazing. No hum or buzz, just clear, beautiful music. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have a rare vintage Fisher X-101-C stereo tube amplifier for sale here. This is incredibly rare and is a very high-quality piece of equipment. It is in extremely good condition, with light overall wear. One rear AC socket has some chipping on the edges, which is fairly common and won’t affect operation. The door works nice and smooth. This has a reproduction green plastic light jewel. This has been serviced and is in perfect working condition. It was brought up on a Variac (not included) to re-form the can capacitors, and has some other new capacitors in it. Controls were cleaned and lubed, and the tubes were tested. The output tubes are a nice quad of Fisher-badged Westinghouse 7591s, and the six 12AX7s are four Baldwin-badged Sylvanias from the early 1960s and a pair of National-badged smooth-plates. This works perfectly and sounds amazing. No hum or buzz, just clear, beautiful music. This is rated at 27 watts per channel and has 4-ohm, 8-ohm, and 16-ohm taps. Please see my pictures for details. This is a Harman Kardon A300 Integrated Stereo Tube Amplifier. It uses 7408 Output tubes – a variant of a 6V6. All the tubes were tested on a Sencore TC154 emissions type, tube tester and passed. The testing included grid leakage and shorts. It works well now; I listened to an entire CD earlier today with no problems (distortion or red plating). It includes the owners manual (with the prior owners name on it) and a template for mounting this in a cabinet. It includes the top metal cover which is in very good shape (It looks more gray than green like the pictures show). The finish on the front face is “champagne gold”, but it is worn in some areas (like around the volume control knob and some other areas) and appears to be more silver than the champagne color. Zoom into the front face pictures. The output tubes all have a yellow “Harman Kardon” logo and appear to be original to the amplifier. The smaller tubes (4-12AX7′s and 1-12AU7) are not original to the amplifier (but have been tested and work as the should). Up for sale here is this nice vintage Heathkit A-7 mono tube amplifier. This is in really good shape, with light wear. I recapped this, taking the can cap out of the circuit and replacing it with individual electrolytic capacitors underneath the chassis, as well as replacing all the other capacitors except the ceramic disk caps, which are fine. This has some nice vintage US tubes in it, specifically: two RCA 12A6 output tubes (1942). I did not swap any of them out. There are several varieties of the Heathkit A-7. This is the one that uses 12A6 tubes. You cannot swap in 12V6 tubes without altering the circuit. Also, some of the A-7 amps have an extra tube on the right side, but this does not–there is no socket, just a hole there. The original can capacitor is out of the circuit, but has been left here for looks. Its phenolic mount is cracked underneath, but this won’t affect anything. The two knobs on the ends stick out further than the one in the middle, which is just how this is made. This is tested and plays well and sounds good. This is a neat little amp, and you can enjoy this as a mono amp, find another for a stereo pair, or rebuild this for guitar amp use. This is in good working order and needs nothing.
