Vintage Tube Amp

Has microphone and phono inputs. Looks original from the looks of the capacitors and parts underneath.

Vintage 1950s Gibson GA-20 amplifier. Found this at a local estate. The cord is brittle. I shortened for a brief test. I found it to work but has a hum. Put in a new old stock 5y3 and matched 2 sylvania 6v6 power tubes. Pre tubes are good but lower end off the shelf guitar amp tubes. I pulled the speaker and the cone is great. I cleaned the bell and blew out the dusty inside. The instrument gain pot shaft is a little bent. Looks like one of the chicken head knobs was replaced by a black one at some point. You can also see a piece of wood fell off at some point. I wish this amp could tell its story.
