For sale, Magnavox amplifier set A138BB and 140B. Here is fully working vintage Magnavox vacuum tube amplifier that was pulled from a model CP242B console phonograph. It includes amp chassis 138BB and tone/volume/control chassis 140B. They are in excellent cosmetic condition. They have been fully tested. 2 new tubes were installed, the 5Y3 rectifier and the 12AX7. I even replaced the dial lamp. The other tubes, 6AV6 and the outputs (2)6V6 all checked good. The controls have been cleaned. Although this is a working set, it is advised for continued reliability that the unit be recapped. Please note that this is not a stereo amplifier it is a mono amplifier.
