This album contains approx 22 large 8″ x 10″ corporate photos of commercial PA builds by bogen. Great shots or early tube equipment, phonos, amps, r2r and more. A copuple are labeled for the insitutions they were installed including Loyola seminary. They all show some light wear and yellowing. The Amp is a beast very heavy, it is based on the KT88 Tube and had 2 of them in it when found but has 4 Kt88 sockets. We are NOT including the KT88 tubes, all other tubes are included as shown.

Here is a SUPER rare amp to find in the US – the UK made Linear Conchord! This one is in need of a rescue. This is a 30w amp designed to run a GZ34 rectifier tube, a duet of EL34 output tubes. These were the poor guitarists amplifier and were originally metal caged mono block looking amps available on the cheap to British budding guitarists. This one has an INCREDIBLE looking custom made cabinet to house the amp. This one has a US plug installed and no tubes and in need of a re-cap at the least. Currently the chassis is not mounted in the custom cabinet so I will have to pack carefully to keep it from rattling about. I picked this amp up used. I had my friend test it. He attached a microphone to it and both channels worked. We didn’t have a guitar to connect to it. All the tubes light up. The little light on the front panel doesn’t come on. It may just be the bulb. It has some cosmetic wear from normal use (see photos). I don’t know what year this was made. A very nice mid-1960′s USA made Kalamazoo Model KG-1-A Guitar with Original Case and 1967 Kalamazoo Model 1 Tube Amp with a great story. The Guitar & Amp will sell ONLY as a SET. Made in Kalamazoo Michigan in the 1960′s, with the Parent Company being Gibson. Photos are a part of the description. I’m limited to 12 photos on this Listing. I got this set years ago from an older Lady that got them Brand New for Christmas when she was a Teenager. She took lessons for a short while, gave up and in the closet they went and stayed until I got them. The Guitar is complete with the Original Chipboard Case, Guitar Strap and Cord. Even includes the original Mel Bay Lesson Books she used with hand written notes by her Guitar Teacher. There aren’t any notes in the Orange Chord System Book, because that’s when she gave up and put everything away. The Guitar is the Rarer SG Body shape, as opposed to the more common Mustang shape. The Bridge & Tremolo they used back then are actually Gibson Hardware, the very same as was used on Gibson Guitars of the same time period. The Guitar is in excellent condition but has the typical Pickguard screw cracks from the Pickguard shrinking over time, just like Gibson’s did. The Neck is straight, the action low and the Electronics fully functional. It is extremely clean and a great player! The original Chipboard Case has some wear from years of protecting the Guitar and was probably moved around many times over the years by the original owner and/or Her Parents. It is complete with all latches, hinges and handle present and functional. The Model 1 Tube Amp is in unbelievable condition as the pictures show. It also is fully functional , has just been professionally serviced and original except for a few new caps. This is a 5-6 watt Amp with 2-stages of a 12AX7 preamp tube driving a 6BQ5 power tube. It plays nice and clean as well as having the ability to go gritty & dirty when turned up. I’ve played this Set only a hand full of times in all the years I’ve owned them and again, they’ve been kept mainly in the closet with some other Guitars in my collection. “In my opinion” this set is in Collector Grade condition. I believe you’d be hard pressed to find a nicer Set that have been kept together for over 50 years and have a great background story. A very nice and sharp looking example of these USA made Garage Band Classics. They’ve been together all this time and I “hope” they stay that way. You get what you pay for! The Neck is perfectly straight, set up with low action and plays great. In addition, I can’t predict how you like your Guitar set up. Vintage 1960/61 Supro 1620T. Amplifier is in great shape and has been serviced only by Michael Clark of Clark Amplification. He also updated the power cord to a three way high quality cord. The badge is a reproduction. Preamp tubes are Phillips USA vintage tubes. Tremendous tremolo, but missing the footswitch unfortunately. Original speaker still is strong and has that classic tone. Has the classic Zeppelin 1 and 2 tones with a boost on the front end. Also to note that this very amp was used by Marcus King on almost every single track of the self titled Marcus King Band Album. It was used in conjunction with a Super Reverb and vintage Marshall to blend varied amounts of each depending on the track. This was Warren Haynes idea to do this with this amp and it worked great. The track Devils Land on the album really showcases this particular amps tone. This is a vintage Motorola from the sixties police radio/ walkie-talkie communication device. It has around 11-23 tubes in it… 11 covered & the others aren’t. I’m not including the big can filter capacitor. This would make a good small low watt tube amplifier, you would have to rewire it probably & it’s super cool and funky looking.
