This listing is for one (1) Vintage Voycall Model 2201 Tube Intercom. The tube lineup comprises a 6CM8 amplifier (triode + pentode), a 12AX7 and a 6X4 rectifier. The speaker is marked 45 Ohm voice coil and the one that we examined was marked 465308 indicating Oxford and probably 1948 or 1958. Prior to listing each unit was tested to power on and deliver sound from the speaker (static, crackling when the volume pot was rotated). The insulation on the power & communications cords had degraded with age so they were cut off after testing, for liability reasons. All are in fair cosmetic condition, with scuffs, scratches, marks or paint spatter. One unit has a bad 6X4 rectifier tube and the retaining nut on the control with the chickenfoot knob has worked loose on a couple. These are the only ones on the market – don’t let them get away!
