For sale is a 100% all-original 1966 Bell & Howell Orchestricon II (Series 012568) speaker cabinet. Originally for 16mm projectors, these are highly sought-after for vintage tube guitar amps and harmonica, offering a distinctively warm, vintage tone. Speaker & Specs: Features the original 12 Heppner driver with a horseshoe magnet (EIA: 575623, 23rd week of 1966). This desirable 8-ohm version is versatile for modern/vintage amplifiers. Condition: Exceptional, clean condition. The teal/turquoise vinyl is well-preserved. The cone is pristine with no tears or cracking. Includes original cable storage and rear cabinet cover.

These speakers were just removed from their factory cabinet. They are a matching pair of 1959 smooth cone Jensen P15Q speakers. They have only been hooked to a low wattage tube organ amplifier and have never had more than 10 W through them combined. The original cones have no rips holes or voice coil rub. The frames look excellent with no rust anywhere.

The product is a vintage ELK 1-12 guitar amplifier from the 1960s or early 1970s, The original circuit board was removed. I was ask to build a prototype of an 18 watt with only a volume and a tone control. The company send me three amps to build off of, when everything was said and done. They gave me this one, because they decided to build heads and not combo amplifiers. I got it out this week to test. It’s been in storage for many years. There is a little transformer hum. I played it for a hour plus last night. Nice pick attack, a great sing to the notes. It features an EL84s and two 12AX7. Has about 18 watt’s power output. Pair of vintage new old stock 12-inch Alnico magnet speakers, stamped 12-69 (December 1969). Both measure 5.0? DCR, consistent with 8? Impedance. Never mounted or soldered – appear unused. Cones are clean, frames bright, and terminals untouched. Excellent for vintage tube amplifier, hi-fi console, or guitar cab restorations. Size: 12 diameter. Impedance: 8 Ohm (5? DCR). Testing performed attached to a variac never exceeded 70 volts. Tube filaments lit, and noise can be heard in the speaker when adjusting the volume control. With good reason, the Vibrolux is one of the most desirable Fender models for its ideal size and power, well-suited to both stage and studio applications. The amp delivers sparkling cut and muscle, and a surprising amount of headroom, cascading into lightly compressed tube overdrive when pushing towards 10 on the Volume dial. Offering 35 tube watts through the original CTS alnico magnet 10 speaker pair, the Vibrolux is the perfect platform for getting the most out of a variety of guitars and stompboxes. Clean and sweet up til about 5 on the Volume knob (with a perceived volume that’s loud enough to keep up with an aggressive drummer), the Vibrolux has clear note attack and sweet tube rectifier sag, not to mention lush tube-driven Reverb and percussive Tremolo. The circuit is 100% original save for one capacitor, and all of the transformers are manufactured by Fender’s primary transformer supplier in this era, Schumacher, dating between late 1975 and early’76. Fully serviced, all pots, switches, jacks and tube sockets have been thoroughly cleaned, and even the original power supply caps are still viable. The preamp retains a full complement of original blue molded caps, and all of the original CTS pots are intact, with visible date codes from the 39th week of’75. The tubes are largely vintage, with a matched pair of Sylvania 6L6 power tubes and Fender-branded RCA-made valves in the preamp. The CTS alnico magnet 10 speakers are the original matched pair with black frames and (faded) blue Fender foil stickers on the alnico magnets. The date stamps on the edges of the frames are from the 22nd week of’76. These are also the same speakers seen in Super Reverbs of the era. The tube chart is intact inside the cabinet as well. The original smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth with orange stripe are intact and extremely clean, with uniform darkening of the cloth. The hardware shows light surface patina on the original handle caps, chassis straps, corners, and sphinx glides (feet). The faceplate is also particularly well-kept with a full complement of witch hat knobs. The original two-button footswitch is included.

Here we have a pair Philips tweeter speaker, made around 1959 by Philips, Hamburg plant, West-Germany. These bakelit horn drivers have phenolic membranes and 8 Ohm impedance. The Pout is around 12 Watt from my papers. These were fit in aluminium horns at that time. I have more pairs of these Philips in stock. (last pictures shows my stock). The Magnets are type cross AlNico. Perfect for any low power single ended tube amp.
