Was ready to recap and rework as necessary and come up with nothing, plays great nothing gets hot no hum, all good. This piece is gorgeous. This one has Sylvania 6BQ5s.

Excellent working condition and cosmetically very good plus. The BEAUTIFUL 1957 Eico HF-20 Tube Amplifier is a vintage audio gem that has been carefully restored and serviced. This amplifier, made by EICO in the United States, is a classic piece of audio history perfect for high-fidelity sound enthusiasts. With the option for 4, 8, or 16 Ohm impedance and a power output of 20W, this vacuum tube amplifier delivers a warm and rich sound that is sure to impress any audiophile. Ideal for those looking to add a touch of nostalgia and vintage charm to their audio setup.

This beautiful Melo-Tone radio is super rare and in very good condition given its age. A little wood stain and it should look brand new. These are super rare and seem to have been offered by Fiske Electronics and a radio shop called Uncle Al’s. I’ve never saw another in this good of shape. Would like to see this go to a good home.

EICO HF-81 Stereo Tube Amplifier with All Vintage Tubes, with EL84/6BQ5 in Output. Watch it in operation with music from Pro-Ject turntable on Youtube. All tubes are vintage and all included; some are Mullard etc. I provided some pictures to show the circuitry under the chassis. I plugged it in wall voltage of 120V and the amp worked fine and produced great and balanced music in both channels as shown in the video. Since this amp is very old, it may need services before daily use. At least, the new owner should have some professional to go over it. I did notice the following issues. The fuse holder is bit loose. At times, I had to re-tighten the fuse to power it up. The shaft of TREBLE control pot can be pushed in if you re-install the knobs on it. I inserted a small piece of hard foam behind it (inside the chassis) so it’s fixed, for now. I felt some of the contacts or wirings are not 100% secured. I once pulled out one tube shield and incidentally brushed on something (didn’t know what), causing the left channel silent. That channel recovered by itself a few minutes later. I couldn’t find out the cause. That’s why it’s very good idea to have a professional to service it so you can really enjoy it. Physical condition is really good for the age, much better than many others showed up for sale. The front is beautiful; all knobs are original. Chassis is pretty clean. Meshed cover is good. There may be some screws missing in the bottom plate. Overall, this is a beauty to me. I have other audio equipment, like. Sherwood S8000 IV Receiver Beautiful Cosmetic Shape Pulled From Working Console VTG Tubes and all tube shields. Tested everything seems to be working such as Tuning section, the various inputs and channel and all lights. All knobs and POC’s were cleaned may be some a couple knobs that need alittle more cleaning to assure any scratchiness has been eliminated. Even though working I’m not sure when the last servicing was and I would strongly recommend it being fully serviced or restored due to its age. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing.
