Here is a SUPER rare amp to find in the US – the UK made Linear Conchord! This one is in need of a rescue. This is a 30w amp designed to run a GZ34 rectifier tube, a duet of EL34 output tubes. These were the poor guitarists amplifier and were originally metal caged mono block looking amps available on the cheap to British budding guitarists. This one has an INCREDIBLE looking custom made cabinet to house the amp. This one has a US plug installed and no tubes and in need of a re-cap at the least. Currently the chassis is not mounted in the custom cabinet so I will have to pack carefully to keep it from rattling about. Very cool piece of British amp history with a great looking custom made cabinet. Available at Sunflower and Friends in Lockhart TX.

Kelly amps are kind of a rare boutique version of Selmers. This in particular is a rare variant therein as it is 100w, don’t really see this format of Selmer in 100w, those are generally SV style. This is a simple and great sounding amp, all made on tag strips inside, two simple three knob channels, fantastic clean sound, loads of headroom. Definitely had a life but been thoroughly gone over, recapped, various drifted components complaced and revalved. Definitely don’t come up often. Ideally should come and try it out. 50w EL34 amp, designed for clean tone for guitar or bass, can get some drive out of it with a hot signal. Seems popular with pedal uses, really warm vintage valve amp tone and the big power supply choke gives them plenty of weight to bass tones. This one has been fully serviced including a recap and a modification to the bias circuit for adjustability. This is the model with a reverb, but the reverb tank is missing, it was an odd small size, so its effectively the plain SV, the knob on the front does nothing now. This is not “a” Williamson Amplifier, this is “THE” Williamson Amplifier. The British made original whose circuit design became the de facto standard for push-pull HiFi amps. Complete with power supply unit and umbilical cord. A few resistors and capacitors appear to be changed out, but largely these units are original and in remarkable shape for their age. They came from the estate of a local old school TV repairman. There simply are none available to compare. I can’t even find a picture of a complete unit like the one I have here. This should be in a museum or serious collection. I have not plugged these in, and I will not. This is something that needs to be carefully restored by an expert. I have no reason to believe that the amp doesn’t work, as it was found hooked up to a speaker. I will listen to serious offers, but would also just appreciate advice on how to determine a value for this. The amp can also be inspected in person in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.
