Has been tested and works great, very loud. The main cable going from the Tube Amp to the Tone Generator is a little finicky, but once you dial it in, sounds very nice. The 12AX7 tubes that are in the Tube Amp and the Mic section of the Tone Generator are all you need for the Guitar to work. If you want to play an accordion you will need the extra 12AX7 tubes that are missing from the Tone Generator. I also could not test the volume swell pedal as that requires the extra 12AX7 tubes as well. The Tone Generator comes with the original Cordovox Leather Covering. The 7591 Power Tubes are Hammond and the Amp 12AX7 tube is a Baldwin and the Tone Generator 12AX7 tubes are Electro Harmonix. You will need to plug the Tube Amp section into a speaker. I have labeled it accordingly. You also have the option of hooking up speakers to the exposed wires on the side of the amp as well. Here is a Pair of Quad II audio monoblock tube amplifiers. I replaced the cheap chinese tubes with Vintage Genalex GEC KT66 tubes which I tested on my calibrated TV7 tube tester. In addition, the amp has a RCA 5V4 rectifier and two Genalez EF86 tubes. I have included the AC wall plugs & the input and output plugs needed to get it working right away. I have replaced in each amp a resistor and an electrolytic capacitor. I ran them for several hours and they sound wonderful. They have heavy output transformers which help to make these amps sound so good. You will hear that vintage tube sound. If you’re looking at the listing, you know what this unit can do. No need for me to upsell, but I will say the tone controls alone make the amp worthwhile. Will be on the road for work for the forseeable future and don’t want this great gear to sit in storage. The unit is clean. It’s been serviced. I think it may need a tube change. I was getting a very slight buzz for a minute but I re-biased it and it went away. I have banana plug adapters, Blue Jean Cables with banana plug adapters and manuals for it too. The on/off works fine, but I’ve been using a power strip to turn the unit on and off to avoid burn out. Will throw these all in free. Kx-200 Service details: Serviced. Power supply rebuilt along with replacing necessary caps. 10 ohm resister installed on power tube to act like a fuse if a tube shorts out protecting the transformers. Bias resister change from 330 ohm to 150 ohm. This keeps power tubes from running hot. Slow start current limiter installed. Sylvania power tubes installed with all 12ax7 tubes made by telefunken which where checked for strength leaks and shorts. Any question feel free to contact me.
