We are including the wooden face, and the unit comes exactly as shown. The metal faceplate shows some wear but is in overall good condition. All parts are clean and in good cosmetic condition. Vintage PHILCO 6V6 Mono Tube Amplifier with Control Knobs (G1706). The amplifier has been tested in the console and is confirmed to be in working condition. The tubes were evaluated using a Hickok TV-7/U tester, see below. Cosmetically, the faceplate and knobs show minor wear consistent with age but remain in excellent overall condition. The chassis is clean and well-maintained. A Philco badge is included with the unit. Please refer to the photos for a closer look at its condition. Tube test results: 6V6 – tests at 84 min. 46; 6V6 – tests at 79 min. 46; 12AX7 – tests triode 1 and 2 at 24 / 26 min. The faceplate measures 12-3/8 x 3-5/8. The chassis measures 10-3/4 x 11 x 5.25. Vintage Acoustic Control Corp Model 164 Guitar Tube Amp Amplifier. Not an expert but it was briefly tested with both a guitar and keyboard. It sounds clear to me through the main input on the front of the amp. There is some static when adjusting the knobs as is common with older amps. No further testing was done. Has cosmetic wear as shown.

Vacuum tubes used: 12AX7: 4, 12AU7: 4. Input sensitivity: Phono MM: 2mV, Phono MC: 0.2mV. The appearance has small scratches, dullness, dirt, etc. Due to normal use. Distortion rate: 0.05% or less.

This is a beautiful fully working Fisher EL84 tube amplifier. Unit was fully restored and has never given me any trouble over the years ive owned it. Iron transformers are all original Fisher. Tubes have all been tested and have all tested strong! Tubes are a mix of older US made tubes. Output tubes are matched Mullard EL84′s. Cosmetically the faceplate has some patina but still nice looking. All Knobs are original and switchgear was recently cleaned. Phono section sounds excellent as well as all other inputs.
