Dukane 1u460 vintage tube amplifier project PA guitar amp

I’m letting go of a few things from from my collection, including this Dukane model 1u460 vintage tube amplifier project. These make killer guitar or bass amps, or use as a full band PA as many punk and rock bands have done. Original transformers are present, as is most of the original circuit – needs typical updates like new. Capacitors, servicing, and tubes. Not currently in a working state.

The empty octal socket on the chassis is likely for a plug-in type transformer. Further research and reverse engineering of the wiring may help yield a better idea of what this unit was used for. There is wear from use/storage like scratches, scuffs and dust. Comes with one Jones plug and tubes. 2 x General Electric 12AX7. 1 x RCA 6AQ5. 1 x General Electric 6X4. Dukane 1U460A 60s vintage tube PA/Amp

Point to point wiring. I added a 3 prong power cable and 1/4 jacks for speaker and guitar. It’s tube compliment is (2) 6L6 power tubes, (1) 5U4 Rectifier tube, (2) 12AU7 preamp tubes, (4) 12AX7 preamp tubes. It is running approximately 35 watts of power. It has a 8 ohm and a 4 ohm tap with 3 channels. Dukane 1U460A 60s vintage tube PA/Amp.

DuKane 1A435A 6CD6 12au7 Vintage Vacuum Tube Amplifier Western Electric Ks Era. As found bench tested to ensure the iron is good. Needs tubes and a service. Great shape for its age and should be rather easy to service and recap. These were built when western electric was having dukane build ks amplifiers for them. Very high quality killer vintage amplifier. As is for parts. Guaranteed good tested iron.
