Up for sale here is this vintage Executone M7004 rack-mount tube amplifier, Made in USA circa 1964. This is an interesting piece of gear, probably from a telecommunications system or intercom. It normally runs a 5U4GB rectifier tube, two 6L6GB, and a 6V6GT tube, but the tubes are not included, sorry. This has an absolutely massive power transformer, made by Quality Transformer and dated 1963, and has a large output transformer (at least, I think that’s what it is) under the chassis, also made by Quality Transformer and dated 1963. The bottom cover is included, but the screws to hold on the bottom are missing, though any standard sheet-metal screws should work. This is a rack-mountable amplifier, but it has a nice flat bottom so you could use it as a standalone or mount it in a guitar amp cabinet. The case is 19″ long and and 4.5″ wide. This has some cool bumblebee caps in it as well as a few other caps and some high-quality power resistors dated early 1964. This could probably be rebuilt into an amazing guitar amp with just a little work. It will need rebuilding before it is ready to use–pretty much all the capacitors will need replacing, and possibly a few other parts. I will guarantee the transformers to be good. This will be an incredible amp once it is rebuilt. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. Vintage Executone P 300. This is an estate find. Uses four 6L6GC tubes, so it will probably be pretty powerful. This information seems correct but I don’t have enough expertise to confirm. High power Push Pull Parallel with four 6L6GC outputs. Dual 5U4GB rectifiers, one 6SN7GT driver and two glass bottle type. This amplifier has one speaker tap. I believe it is good to 4-8 ohms no lower. It also includes 35 volt and 70 volt line operation as well as the parallel. These amplifiers where built to run 24/7. I believe the AUX input has a volume level preset control and is a direct input to the. Main amp for use with an external preamp. This amplifier also has a phono and. Transformer mic matching input which appear to be controlled from the front panel voice pitch/voice volume, music treble/bass, volume. Appears unmodified with very little. Use, but I can’t guarantee that. Look at the pics. Made in the USA including transformers and choke. This I s a powerfull amp, probably 40w-100w, and likely closer to the middle to higher end of that range. This is an amazing find in very nice cosmetic condition. It also could be used to make an amazing vintage guitar amp. Note the immense transformers! Lots of iron makes for good sound! Executone was made in New York USA. No bottom cover, untested.
