Vintage 1947 Webster Electric 6F6 Tube Intercom Amplifier Guitar Amp not working for parts or restoration.

Vintage Nutone Model # 2011 intercom base station. Will need some work if functionality is desired. Please take note of of the cracked tuning knob (see photo #6) and surface rust on the face plate. Good unit for parts or restoration. 2 runs of 5-wire cable included. Face of unit measures 15.75″ x 11.25″, 4 deep behind face. Please refer to the photos for a further evaluation of condition.

Could be converted into a cool little tube hifi amplifier/receiver. Shows signs of use and wear but should clean up okay.

Up for sale here is this neat vintage Webster Electric tube intercom amplifier, dated 1947. It appears to be marked Model 2242, but it’s hard to read. It has an amazing steampunk look to it, and could be made into a super-cool guitar amp. The tube complement is one each 5W4, 6F6, 6J7, all of which are included. It is in decently solid physical condition but the wood cabinet has a lot of wear, but the chassis looks clean. This will be an amazing little rat rod guitar amp once it’s done, though. I have not opened it up, modified it, plugged it in, or tested it in any way. Please take a close look at my photos so you can see what you’re getting. If you have any questions, please ask. This listing is for one (1) Vintage Voycall Model 2201 Tube Intercom. The tube lineup comprises a 6CM8 amplifier (triode + pentode), a 12AX7 and a 6X4 rectifier. The speaker is marked 45 Ohm voice coil and the one that we examined was marked 465308 indicating Oxford and probably 1948 or 1958. Prior to listing each unit was tested to power on and deliver sound from the speaker (static, crackling when the volume pot was rotated). The insulation on the power & communications cords had degraded with age so they were cut off after testing, for liability reasons. All are in fair cosmetic condition, with scuffs, scratches, marks or paint spatter. One unit has a bad 6X4 rectifier tube and the retaining nut on the control with the chickenfoot knob has worked loose on a couple. These are the only ones on the market – don’t let them get away!
