The stereo amplifier pushes around 15 watts and has seven tubes. The currebt tube iibstallation consits of (4) tyoe 6BM8, (2) type 12AX7, and (1) type 6CA4. Here are some details on the Olson and its features on the back panel. RCA jacks for Channel 1 and Channel 2, including specialized inputs for a Tape Head, Magnetic Phono (MAG), Ceramic Phono (CER), Tuner (TUN), Auxillary (AUX), and a Tape Output (Tape Out). Hum Adjustments: (HUM/ADJ) Two potentiometer adjustment screws used to balance the heater filament voltage and minimize backround AC hum. Speaker Phasing Switch: A toggle to quickly invert the polarity of one speaker channel to insure playing in phase. The amplifier performs on one channel only, The potentiometers and switches perform without much extraneous noise. The video sound clip has one side of the amplifier at full volume with KLH AV-4001(C) 8 ohn center channel speaker with a Phillips CD player. The feet all have been recently replaced with new hard rubber isolation footers utiliziing the original slot type screws. The unit stands firm and very solid. The inside cabinet appears fairly clean and without any visual issues (photo supplied). There are some scratches on the bottom corner. Owners name scratched on rear. Manufactures name is missing from amplifier. Other scuffs are on the case (photos provided). One of the glamour rings is missing Channel 1 fron outert control knob, 3rd from left. Packed with tubes seperated from the unit if desired (recommended). Will double box and utilize some or all of the following packing materials: air pillows, bubble wrap, kraft paper. Up for sale, a 1960s Guyatone GA-930 vintage tube amp head in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This rare Japanese-made amp is one of Guyatone’s higher tiered amplifier offerings, crafted by the Tokyo Sound Company. This GA-930 pushes roughly 35 watts, yielding a blend of clarity and warmth, with a full midrange and broad, spongy lows. The EQ knobs have a wide sweep, from treble-centric sparkle to darker, harmonically-rich sounds. Beyond 5 on the Volume dial, the amp is an absolute monster with rich, barking natural distortion. This amp features a dual-channel, dual-input design, and while the differences between the Normal and Bright channels are subtle, there is a touch more sharpness and shimmer in the Bright channel. Additionally, there is (independently) footswitchable onboard Reverb and Tremolo; the Reverb is splashy (and somewhat trashy), and the Tremolo has solid depth, with somewhat limited speed but a strong pulse. Controls include a Master Volume; Treble, Medium (Mid), and Bass EQ knobs; a Reverb knob; and Speed and Intensity knobs for the Tremolo. The circuit has been thoroughly serviced here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with all modern Sprague Orange Drop capacitors, and all modern smaller electrolytic caps in the preamp as well, ensuring the amp is operating optimally. The original transformers are all intact, and the power transformer has taps for both 100V Japanese power and 120V USA power. The tube complement comprises a matched and properly biased pair of Sovtek 6L6WXT+s in the power section and four 12AX7s in the preamp. The original two-tone tolex exhibits some requisite minor marks and scuffs, while the aluminum faceplate retains clean graphics and its full set of machined aluminum knobs. A footswitch is included.

LUXMAN SQ38FD vacuum tube integrated amplifier. Operation has been confirmed, and the unit is functioning properly. All rotary switches, volume controls, and balance controls operate smoothly with no significant static noise or switching shock during normal use. Contact points have been cleaned and treated for improved reliability. Tone controls and filter circuits were tested, and both audible performance and measured values were confirmed to be within proper specifications. The headphone circuit is also functioning normally. All RCA terminals and speaker output terminals are present with no looseness or instability. Please note that the PHONO circuit was not fully tested with an actual turntable setup, therefore subjective S/N performance and noise levels have not been confirmed. Basic measurements including S/N ratio, frequency response, input/output characteristics, distortion level, and maximum output were carried out, and no abnormalities were found. Stable operation was confirmed even under capacitive load conditions with no oscillation issues. The PHONO input was also checked using reverse RIAA measurement, and EQ deviation was found to be within acceptable range. This amplifier operates very stably and reflects the high-quality engineering and craftsmanship that LUXMAN is known for. The vacuum tubes consist of 50CA10 ×4, 6AQ8 ×2, 6267 ×2, and 12AX7 ×4. Tubes are a mixture of Matsushita-branded and LUXMAN-branded units. All tubes are low-noise types and were checked using a TV-7 tube tester, confirming practical usability and healthy operating condition. Most coupling capacitors are film capacitors. Random inspections of several components showed some aging in capacitance, insulation characteristics, and loss values, but nothing considered problematic for practical use.
