1970 Marshall Major 200 Watt Lead Vintage Tube Guitar Amp. They didnt make many of these, they were played by Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, etc.. Original Iron, no back panel, serviced a couple years ago with one new tube and a 3-prong grounded power cord for safety. Only warmed up since to stay fresh. My expert amp tech replaces only necessary parts, and reported no mods on this amp. What you see is what you get, sounds amazing! Up for sale is a Vintage 1984 Marshall JCM 800 Tube Amp Head Mk-2. Master Model 50W Lead Mod 2204. This item is used and in good cosmetic condition. Turns on and glows but has not been recently tested because I do not have speakers to hook up to it. Gentle rusting to the rivets. The cable has been glued to another to extend it. Has initials painted on the side: “JG”. Previously owned by Joey Gaydos Jr. Who played a leading role as Zack Attack in the movie School Of Rock with Jack Black. This is the last year they were hand wired with almost all of it’s original parts in tact. A three prong cord was added for safety and 1K screen resistors were added to prolong the life of the EL34′s. Other than that it looks like 2 of the coupling caps were changed to Orange Drops. The outside of the amp has typical wear for a 44 year old amplifier. The amp sounds phenomenal and it will get LOUD! The inside of this one is CLEAN.
