The 6C21 tube is a high kilowatt pulse modulator. There are 19 RGB’s on the back providing an ever changing color palette. When items are made from copper they are not perfect. There are dents and tool marks from either the construction or the original piece of copper plate that was used. These items aren’t made on a machine, they are hand. I make a high quality kit designed in Switzerland and have sourced NOS tubes. With the artistic help of my wife staining and beautifying the enclosures we now have a quality product that I would like to own and that I can sell with confidence. You can have a clock hand built in the USA from parts that are decades old but are new and being utilized for the first time in their lives. The clock has a battery backup that keeps time to + or – 1 minute a year. However from my observations I would say it is much more accurate than that. This is coming from a person who is a perfectionist and has CDO (that’s OCD but in alphabetical order). That level of obsessive precision goes into the building of your clock. The design is a 6 digit display that every minute if you wish will display the date for 5 seconds and then scroll back to the time. The only word that works for a description is “COOL”. All the functions are set with one simple button. There are too many variations to describe here but be assured you can have this clock Your Way. Tube life is lengthened by a blanking mode which you set when you are away and also an Anti Cathode Poisoning Feature that keeps the filaments clean and adds to the overall life of the tubes. Inspired by the SteamPunk movement I’ve incorporated elements of copper and brass all handmade and unique to each clock. I treat our customers like I would want to be treated. Extremely unique large Folk Art vacuum/Valve tube lighted sign display. MEASURES – 31″ WIDE X 16″ 1/2 TALL With Tubes in. The box by itself measures 22 3/8″ WIDE X 8 3/16″ TALL X 4 DEEP From wall. The display box was from an antique repairman’s tool box cover from the 1930s-40s. The sign has heavy patina on the metal corners and hinge plates. There are scratches and imperfections in the original Tolex such as chips and scrapes spots worn away and some age staining scattered. The pictures show the sign well but of course nothing beats seeing it in person. The sign was made of many antique parts and newer parts as well to create the sign. The glass tubes are many different brands from Rca – Zenith The wooden box used is from an antique Tung-Sol workmans tool box. 100% of the lighting is LED currently so not much power is used and very little heat created. The two bottom lights are a standard socket size and could hold any standard bulb if someone wanted to change the look. The two current large bottom bulbs are LED as well and have a moving pulsating electrical type motion inside the glass and change many colors as well while in operation. The back metal cover is secured on with large magnets so very easy to remove if needed to get inside for servicing or bulb replacement. The top vacuum tubes are lit by Led”s connected by very sturdy metal flex tubing which makes for easy bulb changes if needed. Simply change the bulb and re-position the arm back into position. Just an amazing piece of lighted Americana Folk Art ingenuity, creativity, and overall skill it took build. Literally the only one on the face of the earth. ALL bulbs and tubes will be included with the sign. There are some extra LED bulbs for the top tubes and extra orange LED lights for the side lights included if ever needed. NOTE- there where colored dots placed on the back of the tube bases to help with the alignment/placement of the tubes when you receive the sign. This is an electrified Folk Art piece Hand built and very nicely done, however please have a qualified individual inspect and advise if any concerns or questions, that would be to the new owners discretion.
