I’m letting go of a few things from from my collection, including this Masco MA25 vintage tube amplifier project. These make killer guitar amps! The exterior case is in heavily worn condition, but the amp itself is solid – needs typical updates like new. Servicing, desired mods/conversion, and tubes.

It looks very clean and it powers on. That’s the only testing I’ve done I don’t have any speakers or stereos or anything to try to test it. Use the pictures to judge yourself.

Vintage 50s Masco ME-8 Tube Amp For Guitar / Harp / Harmonica Etc….. This was serviced almost 4 years ago and has been hiding in the store here ever since. There is a low frequency hum but not super noticeable. If using for recording, you may want to have it looked at….. If using it live, I would leave it be. For sale is a very rare 1940s MASCO MA-35N integrated Amplifier. This would be a great restoration project. I’m sure it would have a great sound if someone took the time to clean it up. All the wiring and tubes look to be in great shape and I wouldn’t be half surprised if works as-is (provided you have a power cord for it). Of course, using it as-is would be insanely unsafe and it should absolutely be gone over by a professional before all else. I’ll be honest, the asking price is a bit of a shot in the dark. Late 1940s Masco MA-25PN. Originally a Public Address System. Now re-purposed into a fully restored amplifier. All components have been tested/replaced if out of spec, and ran this amp wide open for hours. Tubes have all been tested and ran for audio/instrument clarity. 30 Watts Class A. Original Output, Replaced Power with Transformer from Era. Sounds amazing, tuned, ready to inspire! Original Knobs and Paint. Amp has been altered from it’s original wiring circuit. We jumper all channels as one. This mod allows you complete access to all of the channels if you like, or just one at a time. They all sound slightly different. 6J7 Preamp (4), one for each channel. Russian 6SL7 Phase (1), bass and treble controls. 5U4 Single Rectified (1). New grounded cord and plug. 1/4″ stereo input, 1/4″ mono outputs in 4,8,16, ohm operation.
