There are no dents or damage on both amps. There are some scratches and wear due to age. Serial numbers on the inside are 8E715 & 8E716 – they are matching pairs. All tubes work perfectly well. Please use zoom to examine all areas closely and let us know if you have any questions. Has been thoroughly inspected and tested by our vintage audio technician and there are no issues. Sound is clear, powerful, and evenly balanced. We listened for hours and did not detect any strange distortions. Both units still look very good. One of the black transformer boxes has a small dent in the back. Both sound fantastic, no hums or buzz. Authenticaps can caps were replaced new. This is a pair of McIntosh MC-30s in excellent condition. These are about as clean as can be expected for this era. There are a couple of rust spots, some very light pitting in places, and maybe a few scratches, but these are absolutely beautiful. These have consecutive serial numbers, which makes them an extremely rare matched pair. You could go years without seeing another matched pair come up for sale. Units have not been turned on for many years, maybe had a resistor/cap or two replaced, and appear to have had the cord replaced. They’re ready to restore the way you want to. Tubes are unremarkable, you’ll want to replace and matched up pairs of tubes on these. The lettering is 98% present on both. The transformers and bottom covers are in excellent condition with paint in beautiful condition. This is a matched pair in terms of the circuitry and components that are identical. For sale is a pair of McIntosh MC-60 amplifiers in completely original condition. They have not been turned on in probably 30 years. The last time they were used, they worked according to the original owner, but the system stored in a console was replaced by a more modern AV system that became popular at the time. I bought them several years ago intending to rebuild the power supplies and use them, but I simply have too many projects and think its a shame to hoard gear that could be used by someone else. These will come with a quad matched set of vintage Tung-Sol 6550s that test good. These amplifiers are in good condition, but with wear consistent with being exposed to air for nearly 60 years. One amplifier is cleaner than the other. One appears to have been improperly scrubbed which scratched the chrome. The lettering is 98% present on both.
